Nika Rimaj, Triathlon

Nika is a 21-year-old student of chemical engineering and she’s a member of the triathlon club Petar Zrinski from Zagreb. In the last 2 seasons, Nika has won 6 titles of absolute state champion, 2 times in sprint duathlon, supersprint duathlon, sprint and super sprint cross duathlon and super sprint triathlon.


Triathlon is not just a sport; triathlon is a way of life. Triathlon trainings, 2 times a day, on average between 5 and 6 hours a day, 30 hours a week, and college obligations do not leave much time for preparing food and snacks. Proper, varied, and regular diet is one of the most important things of every successful athlete. Triathlon trainings are special in themselves, considering the fact that they last a long time, and it is very often necessary to consume quality energy bars during training in order to be able to do quality training.
